Fourth grade students are making biography projects. They survey in the book, Internet, etc. They do childhood, which is means, when the famous person was a child, what he/she’s did, how they grow up, etc. . Some 4th grade students are doing Leonardo da Vinci. We are also focusing each famous person's achievements. Leonardo da Vinci is famous because he’s invented a helicopter and he also painted Mona Lisa. In his adult life he wrote backward, so everyone who wants to know what he wrote must bring small mirror. We also had to write a bibliography which means we had to tell where we got the information for our person. We are also doing time line of each person's life on the computer.
Please be sure to visit our Day of the Notables Wax Museum on Tuesday, June 1 from 11:30 to 12:30. Grade 4 students will dress and act like the famous people they researched. Don't miss it!
